PGCE/MSc in Organisational Analysis and Behaviour/Doctorate in professional, educational, child and adolescent psychology (DEdPsy)

Jahangir is an experienced Educational Psychologist who has been working with numerous Local Authorities over many years. He also works in the capacity of a private consultant. Jahangir is registered with the Health and Care, Professional Council (HCPC).
Jahangir completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Goldsmith’s, University of London. He then completed his PGCE from University College London, Institute of Education. Jahangir went on to complete his Master’s degree in Organisational Analysis and Behaviour from King’s College London and subsequently completed his Doctorate in professional, educational, child and adolescent psychology from University College London, Institute of Education.
Prior to working as an Educational Psychologist, Jahangir taught A-Level Psychology in a Further Education context. He also spent a considerable amount of time working as an Educational Social Worker, working with children who are ‘NEET’, have experienced emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), gang affiliation and safeguarding concerns. Jahangir took up a lead role within a Local Authority as a Senior Educational Social Worker, who worked with the regional OfSTED lead and was tasked to raise whole school attendance and drive down ‘persistent absenteeism’ at a Borough wide level.
Jahangir has extensive experience of working with children and young people from pre-school to post-16 settings. Jahangir has a special interest in working with children who have social and emotional difficulties. He has worked consistently in PRU based settings across various Local Authorities and is passionate about working systemically with CYP and their parents.
Jahangir offers supervision to Assistant, Trainee and Newly Qualified Educational Psychologists. He also worked in a Senior Educational Psychologist capacity.
