Carleen is an experienced Psychologist having worked within Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS), the NHS and private mental health settings including with young people and adults, conducting psychological assessments, interventions and supervising. Her last full-time role was a principal psychologist for West London NHS Acute Mental Health Services, providing psychology services to staff and patients across a hospital site and supporting service development.
Currently, she works in private practice writing expert witness reports, provides individual psychological therapy, supervises and provides psychological advice to local authority social work teams. One of her specialist areas is working with young people and young adults who are at risk of entering the Criminal Justice System or are already in the Criminal Justice System and supporting professionals understanding the young individuals journey, their current psychological profile and treatment approaches if required.
