Meet the Team

At Proximal, we are proud to bring together a diverse and experienced team dedicated to delivering high-quality specialist residential care.

Our staff work across a range of roles, from direct care to consultation and operational leadership, each contributing to the stable, supportive environment we provide for children and young people.

These are the trusted adults children see every day: key workers, shift leads, and support staff who build meaningful relationships through shared routines, clear boundaries, humour, and care. All staff are trained in trauma-informed practice, neurodevelopmental awareness, safeguarding, and relational approaches, with ongoing learning supported through regular reflective consultation.

Our staff are further supported by specialists consultants, who offer guidance. These specialists support staff and help us explore the meaning behind children’s behaviours, strengthen our relational approach, and ensure care planning is both reflective and personalised.

We believe that great care depends not just on individual skills, but on how well we work together. That’s why we prioritise team cohesion, shared responsibility, and open communication ensuring that every child experiences care that is consistent, emotionally attuned, and grounded in understanding.
